What's new, fixed, and improved

2026
🗺️ All Band Planners — Easier Navigation from Plan View
A "← Back to Select Shows" button now appears at the top of every band's plan view, making it easy to jump back to the date picker without hunting for the nav tab. The button is visible whenever you're in planning mode across all 11 band planners.
🏨 Hotel Recommendations — Filter by Price
You can now filter hotel recommendations by price range across all band planners. Budget, mid-range, and upscale options can be toggled independently so you're only seeing what fits your trip — whether you're doing it cheap or going all out.
🐟 Phish, 🎸 Trey, 🐘 WSP & 🎸 Billy Strings — Ticket Links Upgraded to Event-Specific Pages
Ticket links across four planners have been upgraded from generic artist-page fallbacks to direct event-specific pages. Phish and Trey Anastasio show links have been updated throughout their 2026 tours. WSP now has correct links for 10 Ticketmaster dates (Birmingham, Bend, Oakland ×3, Sacramento, and Los Angeles ×3), plus the New Orleans Jazz Fest link, AXS links for the three Las Vegas dates at Virgin Hotels, and the AllGood Now Festival portal for the Merriweather shows. Billy Strings updates cover five dates: Savannah, Greensboro, Charlottesville ×2, and Charleston WV — all now pointing to their individual event pages. Sold-out dates retain their existing links on all four planners.
💀 Joe Russo's Almost Dead Added to Helping Phriend-Lite Tour
JRAD now has a Lite page — all 26 dates from their 2026 tour covered, running from April through August. The run spans Dallas, Austin, New Orleans, a stretch of East Coast amphitheaters, New England, the Midwest, the full West Coast, and a Colorado three-night finale in Vail and Dillon. Direct ticket links for every date across Ticketmaster, AXS, Etix, Tixr, and venue-direct portals. Three sold-out shows (Cape Cod Melody Tent, Cain Park, and Dillon Amphitheater) are flagged with resale links.
🎻 North Fork Crossing Added to Helping Phriend-Lite Tour
Bozeman's own North Fork Crossing now has a Lite page — 7 shows across the 2026 season including Palisade Bluegrass Bash, Folk & Forage Festival, Pine Creek Lodge, Zootown Music Festival, Blue Ox Music Festival, Red Ants Pants, and Creekside Revival. Direct ticket links for every date. Band recommended by Nicholas Stock of phatphlogblog.blogspot.com.
🎟 Lite Band Pages — Ticket Links Standardized Across All 7 Bands
All seven Lite band pages are now consistent with each other. Per-show links have been corrected to route to the right platform — AXS venues no longer send you to Ticketmaster, Etix and Tixr shows link to the right ticketing system, and festival dates point to their official portals. Each page now has matching Ticketmaster and AXS header pills as a fallback when a per-show link goes stale.
📖 About Page Now Live
New to the site? The About page is now live — a quick rundown of what Helping Phriendly Tour is, how the planner works, what you need an account for, and the general vibe of the community. Good starting point if you're bringing a friend into the fold.
🍪 Disco Biscuits — Two New Festival Dates Added
Elements Music & Arts Festival (Aug 7–9, Long Pond PA) and Nocturnal Valley Music & Arts Festival (Sep 24–26, French Village MO) are now on the Bisco planner. Both are full multi-day festival entries with ticket links.
🍪 Disco Biscuits — Ticket Links Upgraded Across All Dates
Every show on the Bisco planner now links directly to the correct event-specific ticket page — no more generic artist pages or outdated portals. Okeechobee and Gather Outdoors link to their festival ticket pages, the West Coast club run (San Diego, San Francisco, Berkeley, Crystal Bay) now has venue-direct and platform-specific links, and the SPAC date has a confirmed Ticketmaster event link for the first time. The Mishawaka three-night run now has a separate ticket link per night.
📖 Guide — Helping Phriend-Lite Tour Section Added
The site guide now includes a dedicated chapter on the Helping Phriend-Lite Tour section — explaining what Lite pages are, which bands currently have them, and how Lite pages can be upgraded to full planners. All seven current Lite bands are listed with a short description.
Helping Phriend-Lite Tour — 7 Bands Added
The Helping Phriend-Lite Tour section is now live on the home page, bringing tour dates and ticket links to seven more bands: Spafford 🌀, moe. 🎸, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong 🏓, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country 🤠, STS9 🪐, Eggy 🥚, and Dogs in a Pile 🐶. Lite pages are streamlined by design — no hotels or restaurants, just dates and tickets in one place. Each band's full 2026 schedule is covered, including festival appearances across Okeechobee, Electric Forest, Dark Star Jubilee, High Sierra, Telluride Blues & Brews, and more.
🎟 Umphrey's McGee — Ticket Links Corrected for AXS Venues
13 show dates on the Umphrey's McGee planner were routing to the wrong ticket source — pointing to a generic Ticketmaster page for venues that actually sell through AXS or their own ticketing system. All 13 have been corrected: Boulder Theater (3 nights), The Pageant in St. Louis, First Avenue in Minneapolis, Revolution Hall in Portland (2 nights), The Showbox in Seattle, McDonald Theatre in Eugene, Midtown Ballroom in Bend, Knitting Factory in Spokane, Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York, and Ravinia Festival in Highland Park. The Ravinia show now links directly to the Ravinia ticketing page — tickets go on sale there April 23rd. The planner now automatically routes each date to the correct box office, with Ticketmaster as the fallback for all other shows.
📖 Guide — Ticket Section Updated
The "Grab Your Tickets" step in the site guide has been updated to reflect how ticketing actually works across the platform. The step now explains that the primary ticket link under each date routes to the correct box office for that venue — Ticketmaster, AXS, or a venue's own ticketing page — and that StubHub and CashorTrade buttons for resale and face-value trades live in the navigation bar at the top of every planner page.
🎟 Header & Pill UX Polish — All 11 Band Planners
Cleaned up navigation and ticket pill labels across all 11 band pages. Ticket pills under each show date now read "Ticketmaster" instead of "Tickets" or "TM". The per-show Setlist pill has been replaced by a single 📋 Setlists pill in the Row 2 header nav, linking to each band's full setlist archive. Header layout updated: the ← Home button now sits inline next to the band name on the left, while ☕ Tip and Sign In move to the upper-right of Row 1, decluttering Row 2 to pure navigation.
⛺ Campground Links Upgraded — All 11 Band Planners
Every campsite recommendation across all 11 band planners now links directly to a bookable listing — on Recreation.gov, ReserveAmerica, state park reservation systems, or the campground's own site. No more generic search pages that make you hunt for the actual campground. Over-distance options were also replaced with closer alternatives: Loyd Park (20 miles from Dallas), Oak Mountain State Park (20 miles from Birmingham), Raccoon Creek State Park (30 miles from Pittsburgh), and the San Antonio KOA (5 miles from Stable Hall). The SCI Eau Claire entry was updated to Campout in the Pines — the on-site camping at The Pines Music Park where SCI hosts their annual Campout.
✅ Disc Golf, Golf & Shakedown Now on All 11 Band Planners
Disc golf, regular golf, and shakedown sections are now present across all 11 band planners — every tour city has at least two disc golf courses and a golf option. KGLW is the one remaining band with a shakedown section still in progress.
🏠 Homepage — Quick Steps Numbered for Mobile
The four "How It Works" steps on the homepage now display numbered labels (1. Choose a Band → 2. Select Your Dates → 3. Click "Plan" → 4. Build Your City Plan) to make the flow easier to follow when the steps wrap on smaller screens.
🏠 Homepage — Band Cards Simplified
Removed feature pills and city name lists from all 11 band cards on the homepage. Cards now show just the band name, tour name, and show/city count — a cleaner, less cluttered layout that lets the card art and tour info breathe.
🐟 Phish — Las Vegas Sphere Runs Split Into 3 Weekends
The nine Las Vegas Sphere shows are now presented as three distinct weekends — Sphere Weekend 1, Weekend 2, and Weekend 3 — rather than a single grouped city block. Each weekend can be planned independently, making it much easier to book hotels and plan around a specific run rather than the entire April residency.
🐟 Phish — Las Vegas / Sphere Content Now Loading
Fixed a data parse error that was preventing the Las Vegas Sphere content from rendering in the Phish planner. The issue was two mismatched braces at the boundary between the Commerce City and Las Vegas entries in the venue database, which caused the app to fail silently. Hotels, restaurants, activities, and all Sphere weekend content are now live.
🎸 Trey Anastasio Planner Added — 2026 Acoustic Tour
The Trey Anastasio 2026 acoustic tour planner is live — 14 shows across 12 cities from Portland to Port Chester, covering the full May/June run with Jeff Tanski. Features hotel recommendations, restaurant picks, brewery guides, disc golf, hiking, golf, camping info, dispensary listings, community board, rideshare, fan tips, RSVP, and the full City Guide for every stop on the tour. Venues include Red Rocks, Massey Hall, The Capitol Theatre, and the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.
🏙️ City Guide Rolled Out to All Band Planners
The City Guide tab — previously available only on the KGLW and Rush planners — is now live on all 10 band planners: Phish, SCI, Billy Strings, Goose, WSP, Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's McGee, and DMB. Browse hotels, restaurants, activities, and dispensary info for every tour city without needing to select shows first. Each band's City Guide pulls directly from that band's full venue database.
Mobile Navigation — Horizontal Scroll Fixed on All Planners
Fixed a layout bug affecting all band planner pages on mobile where the navigation header caused the screen to be wider than the viewport, requiring side-to-side scrolling to see the full page. The header nav has been redesigned to a two-row layout — logo and Home link on the first row, all nav pills on a second wrapping row — so everything fits cleanly on any screen width. Also fixed on the homepage where the band icon row was overflowing on narrow screens.
🦉 Rush Planner Added — Fifty Something Tour 2026
The Rush Fifty Something Tour 2026 planner is live — 56 shows across 23 cities from Los Angeles to Vancouver, covering the full North American leg. Features hotel recommendations, restaurant picks, disc golf, hiking, breweries, dispensary info, after-show guides, sports & events, fan intel board, community rideshare board, ticket links, and the full City Guide for every stop on the tour. Rush's first tour in eleven years.
🏙️ City Guide — Phish & King Gizzard Planners
The City Guide tab — first introduced on the Rush planner — has been added to the Phish and King Gizzard planners. It gives instant access to every tour city's hotels, restaurants, activities, and dispensaries without needing to select shows first. Browse all cities freely, pick your spots, then head to the Plan tab to build your run.
Rush Planner — Full Activity Coverage Across All 23 Cities
Every Rush tour city has comprehensive activity coverage: two disc golf courses, two hiking trails, two craft breweries, a public golf course, and a camping option — all with distances from the venue. Dispensary info for every legal state and province, with clear notices for Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina. After-show guides with late-night food, bars, and live music options for all 23 cities.
🦉 Rush Planner — Full Feature Parity with Phish
The Rush planner has been rebuilt from the ground up to match the full Phish planner experience. Every tour city now has the complete filter pill system (Hotels, Camping, Restaurants, Vegan, Disc Golf, Hiking, Sights, Outdoors, Shakedown, After Show, Dispensaries, Sports), RSVP per show date, "I'm In!" activity interest tracking, fan intel Shakedown board, after-show concert and bar guides, and the City Guide tab — all 23 cities fully covered.
🦉 Rush — Hotel Recommendations Updated & Closer Options Added
Hotel recommendations across all 23 Rush tour cities have been reviewed and corrected. Added the AC Hotel Detroit at the Bonstelle (the closest hotel to Little Caesars Arena) and the Mediterranean Inn in Seattle (0.2 miles from Climate Pledge Arena — the closest option available). All hotel links verified and working.
Login Now Works Reliably Across All Pages
Fixed a platform-wide login issue where clicking "Sign In" would get stuck on "Loading..." indefinitely. Root cause was a version incompatibility with the Supabase JavaScript library — all pages are now pinned to a stable, tested version. The home page login flow was also simplified so it no longer depends on a secondary database query that could stall.
Stay Signed In Across Pages & On Mobile
Fixed an issue where navigating between the home page and a band planner — or hitting the back button on mobile — would sign you out. Sessions now persist correctly across all 9 planners. The home page auth bar now loads instantly showing your username when already logged in, rather than defaulting to a signed-out state.
Phish, Goose & DMB Planners — Load Reliability Improved
Switched the Phish, Goose, and DMB planners from an unreliable third-party CDN to the same stable CDN used by all other band pages. These pages should now load consistently rather than intermittently failing to render.
💡 Fan Tips & City Spotlights — All Band Planners
Two new features rolled out across all 8 band planners — Billy Strings, Goose, WSP, Umphrey's McGee, plus DMB which got them earlier today. Fan Tips lets logged-in fans share and upvote city-specific tips (parking, pre-show spots, local secrets). City Spotlights adds contextual callout banners on date cards for notable stops — multi-night runs, festival formats, legendary venues, and can't-miss logistics like Gorge camping and Jazz Fest lineups.
Platform-Wide Consistency Fixes
Cleaned up several formatting and technical inconsistencies across band pages: removed animated canvas starfields and background overlays from the Umphrey's McGee planner, fixed banned loading spinner animations on Goose and UM, corrected a custom font violation on the Disco Biscuits page, and standardized Open Graph social preview tags across all planners. Session persistence (saved show selections and active city) also added to the UM planner.
🐜 DMB Planner — Major Feature Update
Several improvements to the Dave Matthews Band planner: added City Spotlights on date cards for notable stops (The Gorge Labor Day camping warning, Saratoga Race Course overlap, RiverBeat & Bourbon Beyond festival callouts, and more); added Fan Tips — logged-in fans can now share and upvote city tips; added session persistence so your selected shows and active city are saved and restored on login; and added a DMBAlmanac setlist link on every city's date card.
Sports Ticket Links Fixed Across All Bands
Fixed Ticketmaster sports links across all 9 band planners — Phish, SCI, Billy Strings, Goose, WSP, Disco Biscuits, KGLW, Umphrey's McGee, and DMB. All sports team ticket links now use reliable search URLs that always land on the correct team page and route through the affiliate tracker correctly.
🏟️ Sports & Events Section Added to DMB Planner
The Dave Matthews Band planner now includes a Sports & Events section for every city — showing local pro teams in season during your show window, with Ticketmaster and StubHub links. Highlights include the Saratoga Race Course summer meet, Indiana Fever (Caitlin Clark!), Hurricanes & Lightning playoff runs, and more across all 27 DMB tour cities.
🐜 Dave Matthews Band — Hotel Recommendations Refreshed
Hotel recommendations across all 29 DMB tour cities have been reviewed and updated. Closer options added for Wantagh, Darien Center, and Hartford. Distance labels corrected across a dozen cities including Mansfield, The Woodlands, Noblesville, Charlotte, Alpharetta, Kansas City, Grand Rapids, Gilford, Burgettstown, and Raleigh. One hotel in Raleigh was replaced after a rebrand left it with poor reviews — swapped for the Holiday Inn Express. The Goodwin Hotel added in Hartford.
Dave Matthews Band Planner Added
🐜 The Dave Matthews Band 2026 Summer Tour planner is live — 39 shows across 29 cities from The Woodlands to The Gorge, with hotel recommendations, restaurants, activities, dispensary info, ticket links, and the DMB community board.
SCI Hotel Links Repaired
Fixed broken hotel recommendation links on the String Cheese Incident planner page. All hotel listings now navigate correctly.
New Logo Design
Rolled out a fresh logo design across the site.
Site Goes Live
Helping Phriendly Tour launches with planners for Phish, String Cheese Incident, Billy Strings, Goose, Widespread Panic, The Disco Biscuits, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and Umphrey's McGee — featuring hotel recommendations, restaurant picks, lot scene info, rideshare boards, and more.
