Helping Phriendly Tour
The Official & Comprehensive Guide for the Discerning Fan
❦ ✦ ❦

Welcome to the Helping Phriendly Tour comprehensive jamband tour planner! The purpose of this site is to make your summer tour plans as stress-free as possible, so you can focus your energy on what really matters… [insert hilarious jamband concert cliche here]. We tried to make the site as intuitive to use as possible, but just in case we failed miserably, here are some tips to help you get started.

Chapter the First

How to Plan Your Run

  1. 🎸 Choose Your BandPick your band from the home page. Each card opens that band's full trip planner — hotels, restaurants, activities, and community board all in one place.
  2. 📅 Select ShowsClick the cities you're attending. Hit + Going to RSVP and see who else is making the trip.
  3. 🎟️ Grab Your TicketsEach show has a primary ticket link right under the date — it routes to the official box office for that venue, whether that's Ticketmaster, AXS, or a venue's own ticketing page. Need resale or a face-value hookup? The StubHub and CashorTrade buttons live in the navigation bar at the top of every page.
  4. 🗺️ Plan Your TripOnce you've selected at least one show, the Plan tab unlocks. Click it to see everything we've curated for that city.
  5. 🏨 Book a HotelBrowse the Hotels section and click to book one of the suggested hotels directly. If you would like more options, click the "Find More Hotels" link at the bottom of the section.
  6. ✈️ Book Flights & 🚗 Rent a CarUse the Flights and Car Rental buttons in the navigation bar to search and book travel for your run.
  7. 🍽️ Fill In Your ItineraryCheck Restaurants, Activities, Disc Golf, and Dispensaries (where legal) to round out your days before the show.
  8. 🤝 Join the Community BoardPost a rideshare, find a room share, or just connect with other fans making the same run.

Pro Tip: You can switch between cities in the Plan tab simply by clicking a different show in the date selector — no need to navigate back to the home page.

Chapter the Second

Chapter the Third

On the Matter of Accounts

You may browse hotels, restaurants, and activities without an account. However, to RSVP for shows, post to the Community Board, or leave Fan Tips, you'll need to sign up — it is free and takes approximately thirty seconds of your valuable time.

One account works across all band planners on the site. Sign up once, use it everywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this site affiliated with any of the bands?
It is not. Helping Phriendly Tour is an independent, fan-built platform. We are not affiliated with any band, label, or venue. We simply love the music and wanted a better way to plan runs.
A hotel link appears broken or the hotel no longer exists. What do I do?
Hotels close and rebrand with alarming frequency. We do our best to keep links current, but some slip through. Please use the feedback form to let us know and we'll fix it promptly.
Can I suggest a hotel, restaurant, or activity?
Absolutely. Drop it in the Community Board for that city, or send it through the feedback form. Good local knowledge from fans is exactly what makes this site better.
Will you add my favorite band?
We are always considering what to add next. Send a request through the feedback form — popular requests help us prioritize.
Feedback
In case you were not already aware, we have a Feedback Form for any questions, problems, tips, tricks, shortcuts, or just general advice about life you'd like to offer. Please fill out the Feedback Form to submit any feedback. This is a valuable part of keeping this site current and valuable for everyone.
Chapter the Fifth

On the Helping Phriend-Lite Tour

Below the full band planners on the home page, you will find the Helping Phriend-Lite Tour — a section devoted to bands whose tours are well worth attending, but for whom we have not yet assembled the full planner experience. Lite pages are intentionally streamlined: they provide tour dates and ticket links, and nothing more.

The following bands currently have Lite pages:

  • Spafford — The Arizona quartet known for exploratory jams and devoted superfans.
  • moe. — The beloved upstate New York institution, still hitting the road after three decades.
  • Pigeons Playing Ping Pong — Funky, high-energy jams from the Maryland crew.
  • Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country — Nashville's psychedelic country prodigy, riding the cosmic range.
  • STS9 — Electronic jamtronica pioneers from Atlanta, still one of the most immersive live acts around.
  • Eggy — New Haven's favorite jam quartet: rich songs, exploratory improvisation, and a growing Dog Pound of devoted believers.
  • Dogs in a Pile — Jersey Shore's funky, psychedelic quintet, merging funk, jazz, and rock and roll into something genuinely their own.
  • North Fork Crossing — A rising Americana and folk-rock outfit bringing warmth, melody, and road-worn soul to stages across the country.

Lite pages can be upgraded. If a band on the Lite list gains enough traction — or enough fans request a full planner — we will build one out. Use the feedback form to cast your vote.

Chapter the Sixth

Installing the App on Your Phone

Helping Phriendly Tour is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — which means you can install it directly to your phone's home screen and use it just like a native app, with no App Store required. It works on both iPhone and Android, loads fast, and keeps your show plans right at your fingertips while you're on the road.

Installing takes about ten seconds. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen, and select Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the site in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu in the top right, and select Add to Home Screen or Install App.

Not sure how? Search Google for step-by-step instructions for your specific device and browser — it only takes a moment.
